Suguru Kamoshida is a former professional athlete and Olympic volleyball champion, and an alumnus from Shujin Academy, who later became the school’s volleyball coach.

During his time as a teacher, Kamoshida’s fame was used as a means to give Shujin Academy and its students more publicity, be it for scholarships or college applications. His ego, inflated by the clear favoritism of [Principal Kobayakawa](https://abridgedseries.com/character/kobayakawa/) caused him to blatantly predate other students.

The SIU Director is the boss of [Sae Niijima](https://abridgedseries.com/character/sae-niijima/) and the leader of the Special Investigations Unit, a force that hasn’t lost a case in 50 years, which is also in charge of the Phantom Thieves case.

Shiho Suzui is a student at Shujin Academy and plays a significant role in the incidents involving [Kamoshida](https://abridgedseries.com/character/suguru-kamoshida/)’s abuse.

While unable to directly cooperate with the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, the suffering that Shiho experienced has eventually transformed into the foundation of their motivation to reform society and free it from the chains of corrupt people.

Sae Niijima is the older sister and legal guardian of [Makoto Niijima](https://abridgedseries.com/character/makoto-niijima/) since their father’s death a few years prior to the story. During the course of the story, she would work as a public prosecutor of the Tokyo District Special Investigation Department at the Public Prosecutors Office.

Sadayo Kawakami is a Japanese language teacher at Shujin Academy. She is also [Ren Amamiya](https://abridgedseries.com/character/ren-amamiya/), [Ann Takamaki](https://abridgedseries.com/character/ann-takamaki/) and Yuuki Mishima’s homeroom teacher in class 2-D.
