[Arsène](https://abridgedseries.com/character/arsene/) is [Ren Amamiya](https://abridgedseries.com/character/ren-amamiya/)’s initial Persona. [Ren](https://abridgedseries.com/character/ren-amamiya/) awakened to [Arsène](https://abridgedseries.com/character/arsene/) during his first confrontation with [Shadow Kamoshida](https://abridgedseries.com/character/suguru-kamoshida/) in the Castle of Lust, after which [Arsène](https://abridgedseries.com/character/arsene/) personally teaches [Ren](https://abridgedseries.com/character/ren-amamiya/) how to fight during his first battle.

He is a being based off a fictional gentleman thief created by Maurice Leblanc called Arsène Lupin. He was known for targeting criminals or those who were much worse than himself, making him an anti-hero of sorts within his own stories.

The [Metaverse Navigator](https://abridgedseries.com/character/meta-nav/), [Meta-Nav](https://abridgedseries.com/character/meta-nav/) for short, is a mysterious phone application bestowed upon [Ren](https://abridgedseries.com/character/ren-amamiya/) by [Igor](https://abridgedseries.com/character/igor/) to allow him and his allies to access the other world known as the Metaverse.

[Caroline](https://abridgedseries.com/character/caroline/) is the twin sister of [Justine](https://abridgedseries.com/character/justine/). They are the younger sisters of Margaret, Elizabeth and Theodore.

The twins appear as [Igor](https://abridgedseries.com/character/igor/)’s Velvet Room assistants. They act as [Ren Amamiya](https://abridgedseries.com/character/ren-amamiya/)’s correctional officers.

[Justine](https://abridgedseries.com/character/justine/) is the twin sister of [Caroline](https://abridgedseries.com/character/caroline/). They are the younger sisters of Margaret, Elizabeth and Theodore.

The twins appear as [Igor](https://abridgedseries.com/character/igor/)’s Velvet Room assistants. They act as [Ren Amamiya](https://abridgedseries.com/character/ren-amamiya/)’s correctional officers.

[Kobayakawa](https://abridgedseries.com/character/kobayakawa/) is the principal of Shujin Academy and spent years building up its notoriety, even employing a former volleyball Olympian, [Suguru Kamoshida](https://abridgedseries.com/character/suguru-kamoshida/), as an instructor for the school.

He is a hedonistic and apathetic man with an overinflated ego who only cares for the reputation of his school and his own status.

[Shiho Suzui](https://abridgedseries.com/character/shiho-suzui/) is a student at Shujin Academy and a member of the school’s volleyball team.

She is [Ann Takamaki](https://abridgedseries.com/character/ann-takamaki/)’s best friend at Shujin Academy, due to the both of them being the “unpopular” and “outcast” girls of the school; as such, they can relate to and empathize with one another. However, [Shiho](https://abridgedseries.com/character/shiho-suzui/) didn’t start out friendly, as when they first met during art class, [Shiho](https://abridgedseries.com/character/shiho-suzui/) told [Ann](https://abridgedseries.com/character/ann-takamaki/) that her painting sucked. This amused [Ann](https://abridgedseries.com/character/ann-takamaki/) and thus became the start of their friendship.

[Sae Niijima](https://abridgedseries.com/character/sae-niijima/) is the older sister and legal guardian of [Makoto Niijima](https://abridgedseries.com/character/makoto-niijima/) since their father’s death a few years prior to the events of the story. She works as a public prosecutor for the Tokyo District Special Investigation Department at the Public Prosecutors Office.

[Sae Niijima](https://abridgedseries.com/character/sae-niijima/) is the older sister and legal guardian of [Makoto Niijima](https://abridgedseries.com/character/makoto-niijima/) since their father’s death a few years prior to the events of the story. She works as a public prosecutor of the Tokyo District Special Investigation Department at the Public Prosecutors Office.

[Yuuki Mishima](https://abridgedseries.com/character/yuuki-mishima/) is a second-year student at Shujin Academy and a classmate of [Ren Amamiya](https://abridgedseries.com/character/ren-amamiya/) and [Ann Takamaki](https://abridgedseries.com/character/ann-takamaki/) in class 2-D.

He is a member of Shujin’s volleyball team and the founder of the Phantom Aficionado Website, which he created to promote and provide the Phantom Thieves of Hearts with requests from the public.
